Launch of International Year of Microcredit

From left to right: Henriette Keijzers, Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Captial Development Fund (UNCDF), Iftekar Ahmed Chowdhury, Vice-President of the General Assembly, Mark Malloch Brown, Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Princess Mathilde of Belgium, and José Antonio Ocampo, Under-Secretary-General of Economic and Social Affairs. The United Nations launched the International Year of Microcredit today at UN Headquarters.
