Secretary-General Pays Official Visit to the Middle East

At the invitation of the Government of Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar paid official visits to those five countries from 5 to 13 June 1984 and included visits to the UN peacekeeping forces in the area and UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) camp in Jordan.
