Secretary-General Pays First Visit to UNEF Post Near Strait Tiran

U.N. Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjöld, who arrived in Gaza yesterday to spend Christmas with the troops of the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF), today flew to Sharm El Sheikh, on the Gulf of Aqaba, where he visited for the first time the UNEF Post near Strait Tiran, at the southernmost tip of the Sinai Peninsula.
The Secretary-General is seen taking photographs during his tour of the Sharm El Sheikh area.
