Red Cross Representative Addresses Special Session of General Assembly on Children

The Special Session on Children (8-10 May 2002) is an unprecedented meeting of the UN General Assembly dedicated to the children and adolescents of the world. It brings together government leaders, Heads of State, NGOs, children's advocates, as well as young people at the United Nations.
Jean De Courten, Vice-President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Geneva, addresses the twenty-seventh Special Session of the General Assembly on Children.
