Farming for Development: Demonstration Farm in Haiti

Haiti is an essentially agricultural country but production has been in a state of stagnation for more than a decade. The Government in its most recent 5-year plan has therefore given priority to increasing agricultural output. This Govennment project has received assistance from the Food and Agriculture Organization under the UN Development Programme.
