Secretary-General Visits Spain 22-23 October

Secretary-General Kofi Annan flew to Spain to attend the Madrid International
Conference on Reconstruction in Iraq. Mr. Annan indicated that the conference
""is off to a good start,"" towards helping that country's reconstruction in ""a robust
and determined manner.""
