Sixth Committee (Legal) Postpones Debate on Competing Human Cloning Resolutions for Two Years

The Sixth Committee (Legal) today narrowly voted to postpone for two years debate on competing human cloning resolutions. At the podium (left to right): Lauro Liboon Baja Jr., Chairman of the Sixth Committee (Legal) and Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Philippines to the United Nations; Václav Mikulka, Secretary of the Sixth Committee (Legal); Mahnoush Arsanjani, Deputy Secretary of the Sixth Committee (Legal); and Metod Spacek, Third Secretary of Permanent Mission of the Slovak Republic to the United Nations.
