Exhibit: ""Holodomor: The Great Man-Made Famine in Ukraine, 1932-1933""
In 1932-1933, while the Soviet government sold massive quantities of Ukrainian grain to foreign markets some 7 million Ukrainian men, women, and children starved to death. This deliberate attempt to crush th Ukrainian people by means ofa man-made famine has become known as Holodomor.The exhibition was organized by the Ukrainian Museum in New York City on behalf of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations.
