Permanent Representative of France Speaks to Press Concerning Security Council Consultations on Iraq

Jean-Marc de La Sablière, Permanent Representative of France to the UN, speaking to the press today outside Security Council chambers about the draft resolution introduced by the United States, United Kingdom and Spain on lifting economic sanctions against Iraq and calling for the Security Council to endorse American and British control ofIraq's political development and financial resources for at least 12 months.
