Press Conference by UNFPA on the Launch of the State Of World Population 2003 Report

The United Nations Population Fund today launched a report, The State of World Population 2003: Making 1 Billion Count - Investing in Adolescents' Health and Rights. The report says that meeting adolescents' reproductive health needs is an urgent priority in the global fight against poverty and HIV/AIDS. It also says that investing in young people will yield generous returns, but that their needs continue to be shortchanged.
