UNMIL Deploys Peacekeepers to Tapeta, 250 Kilometers East of Monrovia

The United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) deployed troops today in Tapeta, Nimba County, about 250 kilometers east of Monrovia. A contingent of 250 Ethiopian troops arrived in the region along with two vehicles, weapons, mattresses and tents.
