Meeting: Commission on Sustainable Development

The twelfth session of the Commission on Sustainable Development this morning began three days of preparations for the International Meeting to Review the Implementation of the Programme of Action for the Sustainable Development of Small Island Developing States. Left to right at the podium: Anwarul K. Chowdhury, Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States and Secretary-General of the Mauritius Conference, José Antonio Ocampo, Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, and Borge Brende, Chairman of the Commission.
