Croatia: United Nations Transitional Authority in Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Sirmium (UNTAES)

UNTAES set up a program as part of the final civilian phase of demilitarization to allow citizens to turn in their weapons, in any condition, for set prices. After the weapons were stockpiled, Belgian and Slovak explosive experts supervised their disposal.
Explosive experts place weapons in a dirt trench. The weapons will be exploded and destroyed. [c. 1997]
