The Dag Hammarskjöld Library Building at UN Headquarters

A view of a section of the Main Reading Room on the first floor of the new Dag Hammarskjöld Library building at United Nations Headquarters. Measuring 112 feet by 49, and extending over 5,460 square feet, this room can seat 65 persons at readers' tables. The walls are in Vermont pearl marble, and the furnishings and bookcases in white oak.
