Cornerstone for Peace - Cornerstone-Laying Ceremony

For the first time in history the United Nations General Assembly meets in an open-air session to commemorate the Organization's Fourth Anniversary
and at the same time to dedicate the cornerstone of the Permanent Headquarters.
From the rostrum at the foot of the new structure, President Harry S. Truman, addresses the distinguished gathering.
