MINUSMA Head Visits Timbuktu, Inspects Sites of Recent Attacks

Mahamat Saleh Annadif (at right in blue, back to camera), Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), visits the Timbuktu airport, which was recently destroyed by the terrorist attack of 14 April. The Special Representative is accompanied by Major General Jean-Paul Deconinck, MINUSMA Force Commander, and Brigadier General Stefan Andersson, West Sector Commander.
