MINUSMA Head Visits Timbuktu, Meets Peacekeepers

Mahamat Saleh Annadif (centre), Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), meets with peacekeepers serving with the Burkinabé contingent in Timbuktu. He is accompanied by Major General Jean-Paul Deconinck (left), MINUSMA Force Commander, and Brigadier General Stefan Andersson, West Sector Commander.
The Special Representative offered words of encouragement to the peacekeepers in the wake of a recent terrorist attack on the camp (14 April).
