Burkinabé Peacekeepers Serving with MINUSMA

A peacekeeper from Burkina Faso serving with the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), on patrol in Timbuktu.
Burkina Faso is the largest troop contributor to MINUSMA, with 1,723 military personnel, including 38 women. They ensure the security of logistics convoys of MINUSMA, military operations for the security of civilian populations and the protection of MINUSMA camps.
