Peacekeepers Provide Assistance in Akobo, South Sudan

A view of the Hescos that serve as protective barriers for the perimeter of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) temporary operating base in Akobo. The Indian battalion was deployed in early 2018 to establish this base, to protect civilians and to provide safer conditions for humanitarian agencies delivering aid in the region.
