Secretary-General Visits Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib

Secretary-General António Guterres is in Pakistan to attend the International Conference on 40 Years of Hosting Afghan Refugees in Pakistan, which is being organized by the Government of Pakistan and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).
The Secretary-General (centre) visits the Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib and views the newly inaugurated Kartarpur Corridor, a border corridor between the Pakistan and India, connecting the Sikh shrines of Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur in Punjab, Pakistan and Dera Baba Nanak Sahib in Punjab, India. It allows religious devotees from India to visit the Gurdwara in Kartarpur from the Pakistan-India border, without a visa.
