General Assembly Elects President for Seventy-third Session

The General Assembly elected María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador, as President of its seventy-third session. She will be the fourth woman to hold the post.
Ms. Garcés addresses the General Assembly following her election.
