First Virtual Sustainable Development Goals Moment of Decade of Action

Secretary-General António Guterres convenes the first virtual Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Moment of the Decade of Action. As the world is grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic and uneven progress across the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the SDG Moment, intends to assess progress made, demonstrate the power and impact of action and innovation by SDG stakeholders, and set out a vision for a Decade of Action and recovering better from COVID-19. With just 10 years to go to 2030, a global effort is underway to deliver the 2030 promise—by mobilizing more governments, civil society, businesses and encouraging people to make the Global Goals their own.
