Security Council Extends Mandate of MINURSO

Security Council members hold an open videoconference to announce the outcome of the votes in connection with United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO).
The Council adopted resolution 2548 (2020), extending the mandate of MINURSO until 31 October 2021. The resolution was adopted with 13 votes in favour and 2 abstentions.
