Security Council Discusses Maintenance of International Peace and Security

Vassily Nebenzia, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation, addresses the videoconference with Security Council members in connection with Maintenance of international peace and security: Implementation of resolution 2532 (2020).

Resolution 2532 (2020) considers that the unprecedented extent of the COVID-19 pandemic is likely to endanger the maintenance of international peace and security, and demands a general and immediate cessation of hostilities in all situations on the agenda of the Security Council.
