Former FARC-EP Members Grow Vegetables for Schools
The United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia (UNVMC) and the World Food Programme (WFP) inaugurate a programme initiated under the Government School Food Programme supported by WFP, in which former FARC-EP (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia—People's Army) combatants grow fruits and vegetables on a farm in Conejo, in the area of La Guajira, and donate the produce to schools in the area.
