Global Compact on Migration Document Finalized

Intergovernmental negotiations were finalized today for the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration document that will be formally adopted in Marrakech, Morocco, in December.
Co-facilitators for the Global Compact on Migration process: Juan José Gómez Camacho, Permanent Representative of Mexico to the UN, and Jürg Lauber, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the UN, hold up the gavel at the end of the meeting finalizing the draft of the document.
