General Assembly Holds Elections for Non-Permanent Members of Security Council

Juan Ramón de la Fuente Ramírez, Permanent Representative of Mexico to the United Nations, speaks at the 78th plenary meeting, on the voting and elections for non-permanent members of the Security Council. The General Assembly elected Albania, Brazil, Gabon, Ghana and the United Arab Emirates to the Security Council for a two-year term starting on 1 January 2022.
