Security Council Renews Mandate of UNDOF

Sven Jürgenson, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Estonia to the United Nations and President of the Security Council, chairs the Security Council meeting on the situation in the Middle East.
The Council unanimously adopted resolution 2581 (2021) renewing the mandate of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) until 31 December 2021. The Council also calls upon the parties concerned to implement immediately its resolution 338 (1973) of 22 October 1973.
