Security Council Meets on Situation in Syria

Linda Thomas-Greenfield (left), Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations, and Dang Dinh Quy, Permanent Representative of Viet Nam to the United Nations, consult their phones in between the Security Council consultation and the vote during the Security Council meeting on the situation in the Middle East (Syria).

The Security Council later unanimously adopted a resolution extending the cross-border mechanism for humanitarian aid in northwest Syria.
