Jean-Pierre Lacroix, Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, visits Timbuktu in northern Mali.

The Under-Secretary-General arrives in the town of Niafounké to meet with peacekeepers from Burkina Faso serving with the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA).
