MONUSCO Helicopter Operates in Mutwanga

Officer Abdourahamane Ganda, with the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), and the high command of the Force Intervention Brigade visit peacekeepers from Malawi and Tanzania serving with MONUSCO at the operating bases in Kiya and Mutwanga. They discussed difficulties and challenges with troops on the ground, and the way forward towards enhancing the protection of the civilian population. They also engaged with commanders of the Congolese Military (FARDC) on the joint efforts with MONUSCO.
