Head of MONUSCO Meets with Commanders of Force Intervention Brigade

Bintou Keita (left), Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), meets with Commander of Operation Sokola 1 currently fighting numerous armed groups operating in the Beni territory. Ms Keita was in the area on an emergency visit to meet commanders of the MONUSCO Force Intervention Brigade and FARDC following attacks on some communities by armed elements.
