MONUSCO Finances Bridge Project in Beni

The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) is financing the construction of a bridge for the community of Oicha. The bridge links the township with several other communities and will facilitate economic and agricultural activities as well as enhance security and the protection of civilians.

Cecilia Piazza, Head of the MONUSCO Grand North office, is joined by the Mayor of Beni and the Commander of the Force Intervention Brigade as the open the KAU bridge project.
