Security Council Meets on Situation in Afghanistan

Mona Juul, Permanent Representative of Norway to the United Nations, addresses the Security Council meeting on the situation in Afghanistan.

The Security Council unanimously adopted resolution 2596 (2021) extending until 17 March 2022 the mandate of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA).
