Security Council Meets on Situation in Middle East

Abdou Abarry, Permanent Representative of Niger and President of the Security Council for the month of December, chairs the Security Council meeting on the situation in the Middle East.

The Security Council unanimously adopted resolution 2613 (2021) renewing the mandate of United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) until 30 June 2022, and requests the Secretary-General to ensure that UNDOF has the required capacity and resources to fulfil the mandate in a safe and secure way.
