Security Council Meets on War in Cities and Protection of Civilians in Urban Settings

Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister of Norway and President of the Security Council for the month of January, chairs the Security Council meeting on war in cities: protection of civilians in urban settings under the theme protection of civilians in armed conflict.
At right is Hasmik Egian, Director of the Security Council Affairs Division of the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA).
