Mali Holds Presidential Run-off Election

Mali held a run-off presidential election between incumbent President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita and opposition leader Soumaila Cissé. The first round of elections, which took place on 29 July 2018, narrowed the field down from twenty-four candidates to two.
Electoral Division Officers serving with the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), were dispatched to polling stations in Bamako as observers.
