Security Council Meets on Situation in Ukraine

Sergiy Kyslytsya, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations, takes notes during the Security Council meeting on the situation in Ukraine.

The Council adopted resolution 2623 (2022) deciding to call an emergency special session of the General Assembly to examine the question contained in document S/Agenda/8979. The resolution was adopted with 11 votes in favour, 3 abstentions (China, India, and United Arab Emirates), and one against (Russian Federation).
