Security Council Extends Mandate of United Nations Mission in South Sudan

The Security Council adopts resolution 2625 (2022) extending the mandate of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) until 15 March 2023. The resolution was adopted with 13 votes in favour, none against and 2 abstentions (China and Russian Federation).
