Security Council Meets on Situation in Afghanistan

Ameirah Obaid Mohamed Obaid Alhefeiti (left), Deputy Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations and President of the Security Council for the month of March, chairs the Security Council meeting on the situation in Afghanistan. The Council heard a report of the Secretary-General on the situation in Afghanistan and its implications for international peace and security.
