General Assembly Votes to Suspend Russia's Membership in Human Rights Council

Sergiy Kyslytsya (at podium), Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations, presents the draft resolution during the 10th plenary meeting of the General Assembly Eleventh Emergency Special Session on Ukraine.
The General Assembly later adopted the resolution on suspension of the rights of the membership of the Russian Federation in the Human Rights Council. The resolution was adopted with 93 votes in favour, 24 against and 58 abstentions.
