Security Council Extends Mandate of UNIFIL

Karen Pierce, Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom and President of the Security Council for the month of August, chairs the Security Council meeting on the situation in the Middle East. The Council unanimously adopted Resolution 2433 (2018), extending the mandate of United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) until 31 August 2019.
