Secretary-General António Guterres (right) visits Suzan Al Shammari at her residence in Brooklyn, New York, ahead of World Refugee Day (20 June).

Suzan Al Shammari is a refugee from Iraq who has been resettled in New York.

Refugees worldwide are helping to bring new life, prosperity and rich diversity to their host communities.
