Security Council Meets on Situation in Libya

The Security Council adopted resolution 2647 (2022) extending the mandate of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) until 31 October 2022. The resolution was adopted with 12 votes in favour, none against and 3 abstentions (Gabon, Ghana and Kenya).
