ECOSOC, Second Committee Discuss Sustainable Development and Rapid Technological Change

The Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) held a joint meeting with the Second Committee (Economic and Financial) of the General Assembly on the theme, "The future of everything –Sustainable development in the age of rapid technological change". The meeting featured a robot named Sophia (pictured) that fielded questions from participants.
