General Assembly Meets on Strengthening of UN System Central and Role of UN System in Global Governance

Csaba Kőrösi, President of the seventy-seventh session of the United Nations General Assembly, chairs the 16th plenary meeting of the General Assembly.

The meeting discusses several items on the agenda: Integrated and coordinated implementation of and follow-up to the outcomes of the major United Nations conferences and summits in the economic, social and related fields, as well as Follow-up to the outcome of the Millennium Summit; Strengthening of the United Nations system; and the central role of the United Nations system in global governance.
