Security Council Extends Mandate for MINUSCA

The Security Council adopts resolution 2659 (2022) extending the mandate of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) until 15 November 2023. The resolution was adopted with 12 votes in favour; 0 against; and 3 abstentions (China, Gabon, Russian Federation).
