Secretary-General Visits Somalia

Secretary-General António Guterres is in Somalia on his annual solidarity visit to a country that observes Ramadan. During the trip he will meet with Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of Somalia. He will also visit a camp for internally displaced persons in Baidoa and meet with representatives of Somali civil society, youth groups and other marginalized groups.

Mr. Guterres delivers remarks at the end of an Iftar evening hosted by the Federal Government of Somalia, in Mogadishu.
