General Assembly Holds 96th Plenary Meeting

The Assembly adopted a number of resolutions during the meeting. Among them were one resolution on Tackling illicit trafficking in wildlife; one proclaiming 21 December as World Basketball Day; one proclaiming 26 January as the International Day of Clean Energy; and one proclaiming the period 2024–2033 the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development.
