UN Peacekeeping Chief Visits UNMISS Malakal Base

Hervé Ladsous, UN Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, visited the Malakal Field Office of the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), on 11 June.
Here, members of the Bangladeshi Force Marine Unit at the Malakal Base patrol the river where they operate and support humanitatrian assistance by delivering food to communities on the eastern and western banks of the Nile River.
